28 Jun The Digital Emergency Kit: Beyond Your Passport
Many travelers know it’s smart to have digital copies of their passport and hotel or flight reservations — but why not take it a step further?

Before traveling, scan or take photos of:
- The front of your bank cards (without the security code for safety).
- Your travel insurance policy.
- Medical prescriptions or the names of any medications you take.
- Your driver’s license, if you plan to rent a vehicle.
- Your country’s emergency contact card.

Save everything in your email or a cloud service like Google Drive or Dropbox. This way, if you lose something or get robbed, you can access all your information from anywhere.

As an extra tip, take a photo of your suitcase or backpack fully open with all the contents visible. If your luggage gets lost, this photo can help you describe it better to airport staff, making it easier to locate.
